Since 1910, Fruhauf
Uniforms has been distinguished by its band: colorful competition
winners dressed with unique themes. Fruhauf uniforms are remembered for
their dash of dazzle and respected for their military crispness.
The Fruhauf tradition was built on the expertise of four generations:
The entrepreneurial wisdom of founder Herman Fruhauf. Herman began his
career after the turn of the century, manufacturing ceremonial dress for
lodge and fraternal organization, and designing band uniforms for town
bands and circuses.
The creativity of his son, Ludwig (Lou), combining his musical and
artistic talents, began making band uniforms during the Great
Depression. His innovations in scroll work and design originated many
industry standards in patterns and embellishments.
The commitment to individuality continues with Ludwig's son, Fred, and
his sons Kenneth and Richard. These generations assist a factory trained
sales and production staff to assure perfection and satisfaction of your
order from design to delivery.
The family tradition continues, Fruhauf Uniforms is the only
multi-generation, family owned, band uniform manufacturer in the country
today. At Fruhauf we are committed to you.
